My thoughts and things. Parts of my life, memes, fun things and perhaps some insights. Mainly just a place for me to note things down that I feel others (probably wrongly) may be interested by my sharing them.

I may have mentioned some time ago that the name of the restaurant Wagamama was a little rude. Well, here's what I found (and it matches with my recollection):
Blonde moment.
On Friday I walked from Baker Street to Victoria, taking some pictures a few of which I really like. Met a friend for a coffee in The Chocolate Society, then later met up with Alan, Bruce, Steve and Rob in Don Fernandos in Richmond and had a great time.
After using a mouse trap for it's intended design purpose, why not try this?

My question about astrology, is if it works, does it work by predevination or by a method of either creating the possibility in someone or by creating an environment through quantum means?
If there is predevination, the vast bulk of it's use seems to be vague and undirected. All the better for plying a trade by maximizing the available market.
For creating possibilities, this is possibly more effective as brains are often highly suggestible and take the fairly generic advice and apply it in an almost random way to it's situation. Then creation of the idea of whatever may happen follows, invariably positive (though who would want a negative prediction).
Using quantum methods could actually consolidate the various possibilities that exist by inference. See "What the bleep do we know".
I first heard the track mentioned here 17 September 2004 (that's the date of the recording I made when I heard this thing) while I was driving somewhere in the van for work. Since then tracking it down, mainly to believe my ears, has not been easy though I didn't try to hard before.
I just watched a copy of "What the bleep do we know?". The premise is a mix of quantum science, theology and biochemistry with other things in between.
A nifty little gadget for charging things like PDAs and mobiles. Nice but at this stage I don't think I'd use it.
