Tea

I heard about Kombucha on a Make video podcast. I've been getting very into watching video podcasts lately (or netcasts, as some call them). Kombucha is supposed to be a super drink that makes you healthy and stuff, but essentially it's slightly alcoholic brewed tea. Though I'm not sure I like the idea of drinking a tea 'fermented' by an inch thick beige disk that floats.

Scrap

Some people like making things. Some like making them with scrap (Scrapheap Challenge, or Junkyard Wars in North America)

One of the projects on Scrapheap Challenge was to make a car flinger. One of the two teams decided to use a trebuchet, but while it was a fantastic machine, it broke. Apparently some guys decided to do it themselves.
