Audioscrobbler

On a suggestion from Keif I started an Audioscrobbler account. It seems to be an interesting way to get marketing information about what music is being played, though the market that will be using it is quite small - technically literate musically minded people with fair amounts of disposable income. Precisely who a lot of marketers want to get money from.


But then I know very little of advertising and marketing. My brother would have more of an idea but I doubt he'd care at the moment.


The server is currently running quite a bit behind the submissions...( as I type over 600,000 submissions queued, 78,000 processed in the last hour). Naturally my stats are not available yet.


This week I'm studying "Software Agents". Perhaps unsurprisingly, related to this is V-Girl. Sheesh.
