First-Do No Harm, Second-Tell No Lies

My thoughts and things. Parts of my life, memes, fun things and perhaps some insights. Mainly just a place for me to note things down that I feel others (probably wrongly) may be interested by my sharing them.

F.........ck

I got a flight with Opodo online and thought I had a good deal. But stupidly I didn't double check the details. It left 27 September and I had thought I'd booked 27 December.

However, Opodo are singularly so far useless in helping. As it's a 'past booking' they can't make any changes. Or refunds. Or anything. And I have to wait 5 days for their guys to check out if it was an error their side or not, but then I have to ring them to find out. There was no option for even updating their web contact forms. Totally useless.

So. I'd say avoid Opodo for travel. i can't say about anything else they do, but their travel customer service sucks large smelly blue frogs.

Qwerty game

This game is quite fun and might help on brushing up on typing skill, though quite why it's called qwerty as it's a word game...

Otherwise, I'm still recovering from a cold - which for me means coughing quite hard at times to dislodge lumps in my throat. Yuck.

I'm planning to get myself a full blown iPod later this year for my present to myself. It's that or an Xbox 360 and seeing as I on;y have a 15" monitor now there's not a lot of point in that. Maybe I'll get an LCD panel and put it on the wall - that'd be cool.

Now I'm single again maybe I can make time to look into projects I've had in mind. Though some need a shed and other might lead to requiring a small private island, preferably with a volcano and a white cat.

Climate

Well like a lot of other people claiming climate change (which it does whether we do anything or not) the Telegraph has another viewpoint.
